Please join us for our third annual Alumnae Work Weekend. Help get Arcadia set up for the summer and continue our erosion control project. We will continue our planting project by the Senior Cabins, do some work around Sailing, build paths to divert rain run-off down the hill and continue to plant some low-bushes outside the Gatehouse. Come with friends, bring your family, or bring your daughter to share Arcadia with her. Come get a taste of Camp. We hope to see you!

Ambassador Program

Camp Arcadia’s Ambassador Program, in existence now for over fifteen years, provides opportunities for alumnae and friends to return to “summer camp.” Along the shores of Pleasant Lake, volunteers help create a healthy, happy environment for both campers and staff. In addition to this significant and important role, the children enjoy hearing tales of Arcadia from years gone by and they look forward to introducing you, the “older” person, to the current life at Camp.

Arcadia’s needs are joined with an individual’s interests and talents. There are many combinations of ways to contribute as an Ambassador:

  • Drive trips to the mountains, the rivers and the lakes of Maine and New Hampshire
  • Take Photographs for the Camp’s publicity
  • Join a specific department
  • Help lead songs at assembly or campfire
  • Assist in planning Sunday meeting or special events
  • Join games of soccer or capture the flag after supper
  • Chat with campers in those quiet moments during the evening
  • Laugh with children on the steps of a lodge during general swim

An Ambassador is provided with lodging and meals. The amount of time you give varies from a few days to a couple of weeks. The daily schedule is somewhat flexible and is planned after speaking with Louise Johnson.

Should you be interested, please click the button below to submit a form. If you have any questions, please contact Vicki by email at Vicki.Secrest@camparcadia.comYou and she will develop a plan for you to share your interests with our campers and our staff. During your stay, you will become an important part of Arcadia, once again, as you link today’s campers and counselors with Camp Arcadia’s rich heritage.
